The Livre d’architecture was reissued by Pierre Mariette, at L’Espérance where he settled in 1638. In 1644 Mariette bought a part of Tavernier’s business; as for the Vignola by Le Muet he made a reprint without changing the date, being satisfied to change the address.
The collection was published twice in Amsterdam in 1641, once by Cornelis Danckerts and a second time distributed by Frederick de Wit. It was also published in Frankfurt am Main in 1645. But it had its greatest success in England with two issues in London by Robert Pricke in 1670- the first with twelve plates (Harris 26, 27). The Booke of archeteture was incorporated in Pricke’s Architect’s Store-house... (1674) (Harris 718).
