     The English translation of the Parallèle was reissued in 1680, but the name of Roland Fréart de Chambray no longer appeared on the new title page (The whole body of antient and modern architecture...). As in 1664 the book consists of Evelyn’s essay (“An account of architects and architecture...”) and his translation of Alberti’s Della statua (Riba 1134).
