     Louis Boissevin (c. 1610-1685), the illuminator, book publisher and print merchant, bought a part of the collection belonging to his colleague Jean Boisseau, including the Topographie françoise which he republished in 1655. To it he added more than seventy views (the citadel of Susa) and new plans (Arras, Angoulême, Bayonne, Grenoble, La Rochelle, Montauban, Nîmes, Richelieu, Saumur...).
