« Montem vicinum in quo annosa illa turris, vulgň Tourremaigne, (sive turrem magnam sive Romanam Latinč sonare dicas) aliis Tourremille (quod una fuerit ex mille turribus, quć urbem circumdabant) olim comprehenderat. ».
= “On a nearby hill, there is an ancient tower, known locally as the 'Tour Magne' (derived from the Latin 'Turris Magna'), though some call it the 'Tour Mille' (because it was one of the thousand towers which ringed the town in the times past).”
