Transcription « Es ist gar ein überauß alte statt, darinnen viel alte gebeüw als römische epitaphien, seül, türn, heüser, schauplatz unndt dergleichen noch gesehen werden. Unndt wie man darvon schreibt, auch ich selber noch ettliche stuck von der alten stattmauren gesehen hab »... = “It is an extremely ancient town where there are many old buildings with Roman epitaphs; there are also columns, towers, houses, entertainment venues and other things of this kind that can still be seen. And I myself also saw a few parts of the old city walls, just as they have been described...”
