Remarks

In 1592, the fortification of the town lead to the discovery of a sewer situated beneath the Roman road, paved in this place with large stones recuperated from earlier constructions. The anonymous author's text was copied in 1776 by the abbot Bonnemant from the original version conserved in the cabinet of M. Nicolay
