| Remarks | The aqueduct at Lardenne (1st century?) was the most important of the two aqueducts which supplied Toulouse with water: it drew on springs located some 5-6 km south-west of the town, at the foot of the 'Terrase de Lardenne', on the left bank of the Garonne River. The impressive ruins which subsisted near the ancient 'Château de Bourrassol', designated by antiquarians as the 'Baths of Queen Pédauque', were probably vaulted cisterns which served as settling basins |
