Remarks | Certain historians have identified the site of the Daurade as that of a temple dedicated to Isis; others with a temple dedicated to Jupiter. That a Roman temple existed in the Daurade area is certain; the divinity to which is was dedicated is not. Zinzerling stayed in France from 1612 to 1616 |
