“crois le mesme Sextius [fondateur des bains d’Aix-en-Provence] autheur & fondateur des Bains d’Aist en Savoye, leur antique structure & l’arc triomphal qui se voit encores, & dans lequel ie remarquay plusieurs caracteres anciens, mais qui ne se peu[24]uent rallier, pour former quelques enseignemens à la postérité, leur nom d’Aist, avec la longueur du temps que Sextius commanda en ces pays, m’en font soupçonner quelque chose.” |
