Transcription « In der hauptkirchen, (Sainct Sauveur) [...] welches ein groß stattlich gebeüw, hab ich sechs gewaltig große, gegossene, steinene seülen, deren yegliche bey zwentzig schu hoch unndt ein klafter dick.. » = “In the cathedral (Saint-Sauveur) […], which is a large and handsome edifice, I was able to see six large, single block columns, monoliths, each one twenty feet high and a fathom thick.”
