= “In the town of Orange, there is an elegant theatre, into which, following the customs of Roman Gaul, water from the Meyne River, which flows through Orange, was diverted. There also remains over the river a watermill and a bridge, known as the 'Arena Bridge', so named because one crossed it going to the arena, that is the theatre..”
