Remarks | Modern archaeologists, though aware of the dedicatory fragment (CIL, XII, n° 2224), do not seem to know the column that it came from, which was conserved at the home of Jean de Bellièvre, First President of the Parliament of Grenoble. A copy of Etienne Barlet's manuscript dating from the early 17th century has been conserved (Paris, Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, ms. Lat. 1167) |
