« J’ai vu en 1657 […] dans le jardin du prieuré [de l’abbaye des Bénédictines], quelques vestiges d’un temple consacré, dit-on à Mars […] [351] jusqu’à la fin du siècle passé, il se voyait encore en certains endroits quelques restes du temple de Mars et sur une terrasse si épaisse, si solide et si large qu’on tient qu’elle servit à Henri IV pour braquer le canon lorsqu’il assiegea Paris. » |
